Velleman PCSGU250 USB-PC SCOPE
By Piker32
Good scope for the price. The software is a bit clunky and lacks some of the features of the more expensive
Pico Scope I own. But for a hobby or entry level PC scopes it's quite impressive.
It doesn't work well on slow moving signals <500mS but is a good audio range scope
with a decent feature set for the price (sale price)
If I had to pay the full list price I would consider a Pico Scope as an alternative for a more professional level unit.

good product!

i'm only a beginner at electronics but well seasoned in working with computers- i've been a PC tech for 15 years. it still took a bit to get this to work well, but it was just compatibility troubles. on Windows 7 you'll need to disable the advanced themes or the oscilloscope screen will stop moving fairly often. aside from that it's done everything that i needed while learning to build and test my own electronic devices.

Finicky Software
By Aspazatak
Running Windows 7 64 and 2 times since I started using this the software has seemed to stop reporting the scope output. My pc is due for a reload and I may have other software that's causing the problem, but overall the scope is very easy to use. My only other complaint about the software is I wish there was more labeling of graphs and functions. We aren't really limited on real estate in software so I don't see a reason not to had better mouse-over explanations of what some buttons do.
