Overview
The UltraScope software provides the following control and analysis features:
1. Use Data Browser to display captured waveforms, data and measurements.
2. Use DSO Controller to control the oscilloscope locally or remotely .
3. Save waveform in "BMP" format. Save data into "TXT" or "EXCEL" file formatfor analysis. Print the waveforms.
Supplied software allows connections of Atten ADS1062CAL oscilloscope to a PCthrough USB or RS-232 interface under Windows 98, 2000, NT, and Windows XP．

Very pleased with this scope

After twenty years of service my old scope just would not work and it was time to get something for the bench at home. Having access to more expensive scopes and having no feedback for this particular model made me suspicious, but for the price, I decided to give it a try. Works great!
So far it does everything it advertises, works consistently well, and the 7-inch screen allows you to see the active menu, and at the same time, see the same amount of trace that other screens have without a menu.
I have also become instantly adicted to the "auto" features on this thing. Hit the button, let it scan, and poof the setup that best displays the signals comes up; along with all the details of the signal such as freg and voltage. It has been working away, several hours a day without a single problem. Of course, I do worry that it will die the moment I praise it...
The one flaw, if you want to call it such, is that the written manual is not in english. A CDROM contains a .PDF version for those inclined, and it appears usable. So for those wondering, someone actually has this scope and it is working well for them.

lots of features

I am an electrical engineer with over 20 years of design experence. I have used all types of scopes over the years. I just purchased this scope to replace my analog scope (I also have a PC based scope and a hand held scope). I did a lot reading on the web for a low cost digital scope. I ran across this one and i liked the specs. I was concerened that I found very few reviews on this scope, almost all of them came back to the amazon reviews.
Scope came in a few days after christmas. It came with a nice manual and all in english, two probes and software. I attached my function generator to it and started looking at all the features. Despite what I read, the fan is very quite. The power cord is very heavy duty, nothing wrong with that. In summary I was very impressed. The menu layout and controls are easy to use. The display is very nice and sharp. I like how you can push in on a button on many knobs to bring the setting back to midpoint. many math features, just like the expensive Tektronix quad scopes I use at work. It has everything I wanted in a scope, needless to say its goodbye to my analog scope. I was even able to save a screen capture to USB ( it did take a min or two to figure out how to do it).
The only issue I have is support, or the complete lack of support in the USA. The scope software that came with it did not run correctly on my windows7 machine. It said the driver was not compatable. I looked at all the documentation and nowhere does it state where to go for support. No website, phone number or even a company name. This is a big concern to me. I finally found the website for it online(I dont know why they dont put it in the manual). The website shows no USA support, only a phone number in China (lot of good that does me). They did show a download page for the software but when you click on it, something comes up in chinese and no matter what you click on it will not take you to a download page. I did send them a email from a link on their page. I am waiting to see if I can get this resolved. All I can say is I hope this scope does not break because I dont see me sending it to china to get it fixed. If they had support in the USA I would give it 5 stars.
UPDATE: I used their email request to get an answer about the software issue. They got right back to me and sent me an updated driver. you have to manually load the driver but it worked. software works as advertised. At this point I dont see any issues with the scope, does everything I need.

Very Nice tool for a Hobbiest

I couldnt believe how nice and usefull tool this was, I tought the price being low was gonna be a low grade item. Yes its not a professional tool I dont think, but it has all the items and resolution of a pro series scope. it has a capture option which is good because you can save the image that is on the screen on to the device or to a USB drive. Big screen is also a big plus, it has a frequency measure option and lot more. You will not be disapointed when you purchase this item...
